If you’re not happy with your order, our Exchange and Return Policy outlines your rights under Dutch and EU consumer law, including the 14-day cooling-off period and the 2-year legal guarantee, to make the process smooth and transparent.
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 30 days of receiving your order without providing a reason, as part of the cooling-off period. This period begins the day after you, or a designated third party (other than the carrier), receives the product. After registering, return the product to us within 14 days of submitting the form. The product must be in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging, though you may open and inspect it to assess its nature, characteristics, and functioning. We will refund the full purchase price, including standard delivery costs (if applicable), within 30 days of receiving the returned product, using the same payment method as your original purchase. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is faulty or not as described. Note that the right of withdrawal applies only to consumer purchases, not business-to-business (B2B) transactions.
Certain products are exempt from the right of withdrawal under EU law. These include personalized or custom-made products, sealed products unsuitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons (e.g., certain automotive fluids) if unsealed after delivery, perishable goods, sealed audio, video, or software products if unsealed, and digital content (e.g., downloadable software) if the download or streaming has started with your prior consent and acknowledgment that you lose the right of withdrawal. Under EU law, all products purchased from SDM Parts come with a minimum 2-year legal guarantee, starting from the date of delivery. If a product is faulty, does not match its description, or is not fit for purpose within this period, you are entitled to a free repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances. If a defect appears within the first year, it is assumed to have existed at delivery unless we prove otherwise. After the first year, you may need to demonstrate the defect was present at delivery. We will arrange for a replacement or refund, including any delivery and return shipping costs, at no additional cost to you.

After registering, pack the product securely in its original packaging, including all accessories and documentation, and send it to our warehouse using a trackable shipping method within 30 days of submitting the form. We recommend insuring the shipment, as you are responsible for the product until it reaches us. Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will process your refund within 30 days.
